Accounts officer 

Position Title: Accounts officer 
Experience: 2- 3 Years 
Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, preferably ACCA

Job Description
Support duties related to accounts payable and account receivable functions.
Preparing accounts and tax returns.
Monitoring spending and budgets.
Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries.
Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
Create and update expense reports.
Process reimbursement forms.
Prepare bank statements, balance sheets, project-based profit and loss accounts and ledgers.
Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting CRM software (e.g. QuickBooks, Odoo)
Enter financial transactions into internal databases.
Check spreadsheets for accuracy.
Maintain digital and physical financial records.
Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
Review and file payroll documents.
Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual audits.
