Lahore: As per the latest updates, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has just conducted an operation where they have used heavy machinery and destroyed & sealed many illegal buildings in Lahore that worked against the laws. Furthermore, this operation was led by Chief Town Planner-II Athar Ali, along with the enforcement team and police.

As per the sources, LDA has demolished many buildings or constructions, such as service stations, workshops, and shops, in various areas such as:
- Johar Town
- Pine Avenue
- Ferozepur Road
- Nasheman-e-Iqbal
In addition, because of the illegal usage of commercial shops, LDA sealed around 25 shops along Ferozepur Road and Katcha Jail Road. Furthermore, LDA officials have clarified that they had already sent the notices to the owners of the buildings before this operation.
