Islamabad: As per the latest updates, the IT sector of Pakistan has seen significant growth of 14.9% in exports in the first eight months of the fiscal year 2023/24. As per the sources, the sector has seen a rapid growth of around USD 1.977 billion as compared to USD 1.720 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

In addition, there was also a decline of around 4% on a month-on-month basis in February 2024. Moreover, the remittances also stand at USD 257 million compared to USD 265 million in January 2024.
Meanwhile, based on year-on-year (YoY), the IT sector’s export remittances grew by around 32% compared to February 2023, making USD 257 million.
