FBR, Karandaaz Pakistan Signed MoU for Digitalization of Tax System

Islamabad: As per the latest updates, a meeting was held between the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Karandaaz Pakistan, and  Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, where they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MsoU) concerning the requirement for business facilitation and people-centric approaches in making digital solutions.

Moreover, Mr Aurangzen also emphasizes the significance of using top-tier human capital for practical assessment and design. He further suggests that experienced international consultants must be involved in this initiative as they can effectively implement tax digitalization solutions.

Under the agreement, Karandaaz Pakistan will be responsible for helping FBR evaluate business requirements, current IT infrastructure & systems, and business processes to determine the background and extent for digitalizing the tax system while focusing on service-oriented and taxpayer-centric use cases.
