CDA Introduced New Property Tax System in Islamabad to Boost Revenue

Islamabad: As per the latest updates, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has recently introduced a new property tax system in Islamabad to increase revenue. As per this system, employees of private firms registered with the Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) are allowed a 10% tax concession on their properties, along with government employees. It is pertinent to mention that this concession applies to those who clear their dues by September 30 each year.

As per the sources, below are the firms that are relieved from this property tax system:

  • Libraries
  • Government hospital
  • Educational institutions
  • Federal and provincial government offices
